At the heart of Diss Dental Care Centre is a strong family ethos. Bernie Mayston, our principal dentist, qualified in 1986 and has over 40 years of experience. His daughter has grown up around the practice, and it has been a joy for our patients to watch her develop into a qualified dentist.
She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in restorative dentistry, continuing our legacy of high-quality care. Teresa, Bernie’s wife, brings over 50 years of experience in Dentistry, having served as a Dental Nurse, Receptionist, and Practice Manager. Her practical, common-sense approach ensures the practice operates seamlessly, as she oversees much of the administrative work.
We are also pleased to have Eleni, an associate dentist who is working towards a master’s degree in root canal treatments, ensuring that specialised care is always available to our patients.

Our practice features four well-equipped surgeries, two state-of-the-art central decontamination suites, and a spacious waiting area to ensure you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. We also utilise advanced diagnostic technology, including an OPG X-Ray Scanner machine and Lateral Cephalometric X-Ray machine, allowing for precise diagnosis and treatment planning. For your convenience, we offer ample parking at the rear of the building.
