Despite the government easing lockdown measures to enable the country to get back to 'normal', we would like to reassure you that all of the standards we have implemented since the start of the pandemic, will remain in place for the foreseeable future. Our patients safety is our main priority, and we are following the guidelines given to us by the Chief Dental Officer which are called the 'Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)' and they were recently updated on the 16th July 2021. Please see the following website for further information on these standards: Coronavirus » Dental standard operating procedure: Transition to recovery (england.nhs.uk). In an effort to keep everyone safe, we try to go above and beyond the SOP, and as a private practice we can afford to implement extra hygiene measures, for example we have installed air purification systems in every surgery and the waiting room, as well as upgrading the extractors in each surgery to ensure there are more air changes per hour.
The Chief Nursing Officer for England, Ruth May, has also advised that face coverings and social distancing measures will remain in place across all healthcare settings so that the most vulnerable patients can continue to safely access healthcare services. So we politely request you still wear a face covering when visiting Diss Dental Care Centre. Please see below/or contact us for further information regarding how we have been operating during the pandemic.
